On October 29th, ViZ Laboratory for Visual Culture, hosted the introductory meeting to the new workshop of the ongoing project The Text of Appearances. For this occasion, the duo team of The Text of Appearances (Maria Glyka, Dimitris Rentoumis) organized a study group of the essay “The carrier bag theory of fiction” by Ursula K. Le Guin in collaboration with Studio 11 asfa (Lab11) and ASFA Studio Poka-Yio (Lab12) of ASFA. They also invited the Indian artist and storyteller Paribartana Mohanty for a lecture-performance with the title “Mia Marcos and his art project”.

The workshop of The Text of Appearances will take place on 29th and 30th of November at ViZ. More details about the upcoming workshop The Text of Appearances / container version to be announced soon!
